Trojans Welcome New Strength Coach & Trainer
Troy, OH - The Troy Trojans varsity hockey program, proud members of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA), are pleased to welcome current THS Biology teacher Jason McGharan to the team as the new Strength and Conditioning Coach, and welcome Ryan Castle, AT to the program as Athletic Trainer joining Kyra Dorney from Premier Health.
A Biology teacher at Troy High School since 2015, Jason brings a wealth of practical experience to the program, having achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Life Science Education from Bowling Green State University, a Masters Degree in Applied Exercise Science / Strength and Conditioning from Concordia University Chicago and he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), National Strength and Conditioning Association
Ryan joins the staff of the Troy Trojans, replacing Justin Perkins as the second trainer on staff through the Trojans ongoing partnership with Premier Health and Upper Valley Medical Center (UVMC) in Troy. Most recently, Ryan served as Athletic Trainer with Wilson Health based in Sidney.
