Trojan Hockey Summer Camp Announced

Troy, Ohio - The Troy Trojans varsity hockey program, proud members of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA), released details and dates for their anticipated summer hockey camp, returning to the Trojans home ice inside the historic Hobart Arena in downtown Troy this summer.

Beginning on Wednesday, June 22, the camp is open to prospective student athletes who will be at least entering 7th grade for the upcoming school year that are interested in OHSAA varsity hockey at Troy High School, as well as all current returning varsity letter winners. 

Once again led by Trojans head coach Rick Szabo, the camp features over 15 hours of on-ice instruction, several hours of classroom discussion and instruction and fitness/stretching activities for all skill levels. 

This year's camp culminates in a scrimmage and skills competition on Saturday, July 30, complete with midday cookout for camp participants. This event may be for Varsity eligible student athletes only, per OHSAA rules. Contact head coach Rick Szabo for more information regarding a players status and eligibility. 

For 2022, the camp fee is $250, payable to the "Troy High School Hockey Boosters" and is due prior to participating in camp. Participating student athletes must also provide a signed waiver and registration form prior to the first ice session.
