Spring Prospect Skate A Success
Troy, OH - The Troy Trojans Varsity Hockey Team, proud members of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA), are excited to release details of the program's successful spring 2021 prospect skate last week inside the historic Hobart Arena in downtown Troy.
A total of twelve prospect skaters participated in the event hosted by the Trojans and featuring several current and former Trojans players and coaches as part of the one night event. Ranging from student athletes in grades seven through ten, this camp provided the Trojans coaching staff an opportunity to meet and observe aspiring varsity hockey players in several higher level drills and situations during the ninety minute ice session.
Additionally, family members and student athletes participated in a special preskate meeting with THS Athletic Department and THS/Premier Health Medical Staff, as well as Trojans Head Coach Rick Szabo inside the Alumni Victory room at Troy Memorial Stadium, a facility utilized by the hockey program for in-season meetings, video sessions and more. Parents and athletes were able to meet administration from Troy High School and get a broad overview of OHSAA varsity hockey and the Troy High School athletic department during the presentation.
This free prospect event was made possible by the Troy High School Hockey Boosters, and the Troy High School Athletic Department.
The Next prospect event is the much anticipated 2021 Summer Prospect Camp set to begin on June 21, 2021.
