Additional Preseason Game Announced
Troy, OH - The Troy Trojans varsity hockey team, proud members of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA), have announced an additional preseason exhibition game against conference rival Alter Knights on Saturday, November 7 at 7:00 pm inside the NTPRD Chiller Arena in downtown Springfield, Ohio.
The Trojans will open their season on the road against the Knights, in a neutral site contest, before coming home to the historic Hobart Arena in Troy for the Trojan's home opener against Worthington Kilbourne the following night.
Alter will make one appearance inside Hobart Arena this season, with the Trojans hosting the Knights on Sunday, December 27 at 5pm for a conference matchup.
Due to the ongoing COVID regulations in place from the Governor, attendance at all games will be severely limited, with an OHSAA imposed cap of 300 but with different restrictions in each specific venue. For games played at the NTPRD Chiller in Springfield, each team will be provided with a very limited number of tickets designated for family. For games inside Hobart Arena (capacity 3,786), the Arena has established their own attendance policy, stating that attendance will be limited to 6 fans per player with limited general admission available only if tickets remain. Questions regarding regular season Home game ticket policy can be directed to the THS Athletic Department. *Preseason games are free and do not require a ticket, but still apply to the venue's specific attendance policy.
